Glauk born from the union of members of two bands : Sorrow and Matando, in 1998. Composed by Black Hammer (drums), Nihil's Blood (bass), La Bestia (voices) and countess (guitar). The band was creat to only recording their whishes for making a pure and simple black metal.

So a demo was recorded in 1999 and 2000 called  Blood blood blood , an album sounding beetwin old school death and true black.

Later rise Sacrifice in Blood , the principal album of Glauk. It was a primitive black with not lot of riffs. Basic but so cold and dark near of the first Mayhem, Darkthrone and Burzum.

Nether the first nor the second was distributed. Members didn't wanted.

Later gone La Bestia and Countess. Staying in the darkness Nihil's blood (which took the guitar) and Black Hammer. The music took a direction more thrash, but stayed resolutly Black (for ever). Influences are now more near of Immortal, Mayhem but some touches of power death metal and disharmony came.

Now, the band decided to recrut some new troops but it is not totally done. Glauk work on a new album may be commercialised in the futur and with his eternal raw sound.
